IKEA at Milan Design Week 2025: Dare to start a ripple of change

From April 7 to 13, IKEA will unveil its exhibition at 18 Via Vigevano, presenting a new collection and telling the story of the impact that Democratic Design can have on people’s lives, at home and beyond.

IKEA returns to Milan Design Week 2025, from April 7 to 13. This year, the event will take place at Via Vigevano 18 in Milan’s Tortona district, with an exhibition designed by architect Midori Hasuike and spatial designer Emerzon. A new collection will be revealed in the exhibition, whilst another area titled “Do something. Change everything.”, will highlight how quality and sustainability are beacons for change that can have a lasting impact.

The exhibition will highlight the IKEA democratic design approach — focused on form, function, quality, sustainability and low price — and how it can lead to change that endures. IKEA aims to show how impactful decisions made today can contribute to a more positive tomorrow for individuals and communities.

In a world-exclusive, IKEA will unveil a new collection that showcases both innovation and tradition. This debut will offer visitors a look into how IKEA continues to evolve in its mission to make great quality and thoughtful designs more accessible for people and their wallets worldwide.

The ’Do Something. Change Everything.’ area of the exhibition reflects how each decision, no matter how small, creates a ripple effect that drives change. Through this exhibition, IKEA will showcase how sustainable materials, thoughtful design choices, and a commitment to quality can spark positive change at home and beyond.

Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with creative displays and immersive installations. A lineup of speakers, performers and creators, both Italian and international, will take part in the event throughout the week and bring stories to life through art. Join to experience firsthand how small changes can create a big, lasting impact.
