Today IKEA opens a new store in Stockholm – a small store yet a great milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to innovate and adapt to changing consumer behaviors. This new store, located in the Mall of Scandinavia, exemplifies IKEA’s strategy of developing smaller, more accessible urban store formats.
The new Stockholm store, spanning 2,500 square meters, is situated in Sweden’s largest and most visited shopping center, which attracts 13 million visitors annually. Despite its relatively small size compared to traditional IKEA stores, it offers a comprehensive range of home furnishing products and services.

The new store will showcase 5,000 products from the IKEA range and offer approximately 2,000 home furnishing products for immediate take-away, with the option to order the entire range for home delivery or pick-up.
